The brackets that were shipped with the Moss Motors Luggage Rack are
rectangular, about 1" wide and 3-3/8" long, with rounded corners. They have
two (2) 1/4" holes (not slots) requiring the complete removal of the trunk
hinge bolts. They are much larger than the actual hinge and will look bad,
IMHO.

I removed the original brackets from one of my old TR250s and they have
slots, and exactly match the outline of the hinges. Could Moss Motors have
sent me the wrong brackets? Or is that the way todays replacement brackets
are made?

Are better brackets available or should I get the old brackets from the
TR250 replated?
