I saw Brian's TR 4a (and it is a very nice car, Brian) and yes it is a TR
250
mirror. I bought one for mine from TRF, and I guess I was lucky to do it
when I did. It is exactly the same as the one I took off, except for it
wasn't
pitted ;^). I'm sorry I can't say if VB's is good, but caveat emptor with
those
guys, sometimes they have excellent stuff, sometimes junk. Check out Moss,
they are generally more dependable.

I don't know where the U.S. suppliers (VB, TRF, Moss et al) get their LBC
mirrors from, but I assume it is one is a supplier like Europa Specialist
Spares
(Vintage, Classic, Historic Motorsport & Replica).

Try and get hold of a copy of their excellent full colour catalogue (96
pages).
I have NO financial interest, but if you're a gearhead like me, you'll love
leafing through it drooling over all the parts and imagining how some of them
would look bolted onto your car...
There are two full pages of mirrors in every shape and style you can imagine.
(Perhaps you can ask them to FAX you the mirror pages: 26 & 27 in advance of
the broucher ?) I believe that the nearest one to that on the TR250/TR4A is
somewhere on there, and you can mix n' match heads and stems to suit.
(Don't forget to specify LHD)
