That is the recommended lubrication.

The threaded stub at the bottom of the vertical link is drilled, with a
horazontal hole about 2 1/2 inches from the bottom.  A zerk fitting can be
installed there to pump a small amount of oil into the space between the
trunnion and the vertical link.  These parts move against each other, and
as such, should be lubricated.
