Are you sure about this? ISTR that the TR3 and through the first years of
the TR4, the dealer installed luggage rack was the AMCO one that required
holes through the deck. Eventually AMCO came out with a hinge/license plate
hole unit, but I believe that was for the TR4A, which of course also fit
the TR4. The unit I bought in 1966 from a dealer for my TR4 was the AMCO
unit that also was listed for the TR3.
