Windscreen seal, TR6

Talking of windscreens, I ordered a new seal and upon fitment I
discovered that it was not  wide enough to cover the lower corners of
the frame. I am at the moment not in a mood of taking the screen out
again. Can anyone please tell me if there were different frame
assemblys, seals or did they just send me the wrong seal? The seal came
from Rimmer bros. and the car in question is a 74 6. CF chassis. no.
