I have this vague memory that Dick Nyquist has/had a 2000 and had
a lot of trouble when he tried to put a GT6 engine into it - motor
mount variations, maybe even gearbox mount. I don't know the
details, and Dick seems to have dropped off-net, but
perhaps someone on the list knows the details. 

I could be wrong, but you might want to research this a touch
further, in case I'm right and it *isn't* a simple swap...
