I have an assortment of hats that I use... I use
Navy-surplus-Aircraft-carrier-deck-hats, hunting hats,
leather-vintage-style hat, etc. etc... They all cover the ears and they
all can be secured under my chin.

For goggles... I generally use relatively inexpensive skydiving
goggles... they have a vintage appeal... but are cheap enough to throw
away when they get too scratched up, etc.

I should really use something with more impact resistance... but I'll
cross that bridge when I find something I like... :)
