Andy,
I wonder of the Fiesta alternator is the same one that is being described.  My
search revealed a cost of over $80.oo for the Bosche Unit.  I also found that 
the
GM was higher than reported.  That might be a "wrecking yord" price.
I opted to keep the Lucas unit and live with the lower output, thereby keeping 
it
"all Brit".  I got a "Lifetime Warranty" so regardless of the number of times it
goes out, all it will cost is a little time.
