A relative was working under a truck with an welding torch. Instead of
turning it off and relighting it when he needed it, he carefully laid it on
the cement floor. He took great care to point it away from himself, he
unknowingly pointed it at the rear tire. He barely got out from under the
truck when the tire blew. It took the truck, garage, contents of the
garage, aluminum siding on the house and the refrigerator on the other
side of the house wall. The insurance company was relucant to pay since
this was the second time he burnt down the garage.
