I apologise that this is a non-LBC query, but it would help me greatly if
anyone of the 688 knowledgeable listers out there has an answer to this
computer query!
I have as a storage device on my PC,an Iomega JAZ drive (tape streamer) of
1GB capacity.Recently for reasons unknown,it has taken it upon itself to
refuse point blank to save/accept any files whatsoever!
It is Not full, only 148MB used in fact.
I have defragged it,I have checked it for viruses and errors,(none found),and
it is not read or write protected.
I've been right through the troubleshooting/tools guides and the set-up
floppy disk manual, but can find nothing to help (what a surprise!)
I am now considering re-formatting the cartridge,but that'll wipe all data,so
I'll have to back it all up first.
There is a LOT of Triumph Club work on the cartridge and I really don't want
to lose it/rework it.
Do any of you have any ideas or answers to my problem?
The error message I get says "ERROR COPYING FILE" "cannot create or replace
'xxx.xxx'. The directory or file cannot be created" alternatively it just
says "file name invalid"
This is driving me nuts!
Anyone?
Regards
Leon
(tecknowlegy victim).
Is this PC wearing a Lucas sticker?
