I'm looking for a source of longer wheel studs for a TR6 future prepared
autocrosser.

The steel "Fastwheels" I picked up are 8" by 15" and they have a
reinforced doubler plate welded around the lug nut/hub area. The
thickness in that area is around 1/2" and the factory wheel studs are
about 1/2" too short. Production studs are ~ 1 3/8" long and I need
studs that are about 7/16" Dia (SAE 20 TPInch) and 1 7/8" long.

I tried my local brake wholesaler and he couldn't find any that would
work. Also tried TRF and Moss with no sucess on the suggestion of a
local Bugeye racer. Summit and our local Hot Rod shop (Ramchargers) have
studs that are 7/16" by 3" long a bit too long for me.

Any suggestions on a source?

Grassroots Motorsports has a special section on TR6 Rx and feature
Shepards white TR6. Met him at the TRF Summer Party last summer and he
was running long studs but with 1" spacers and 225 50 tires.

Is anyone else out there running 8" wheels or 225x50 or 225X45 tires out
there!

Thanks in advance

Glenn Franco
