I apologize for the non triumph nature of the question but thought
this malady might not be unique and the solution of use to triumph enthusiasts
as well.
An owner of a Jauguar, one of those 12 cylinder 1970's era hardtops
that I should be able to offer more information on, has developed brakes that
do not want to release after being applied. He's drained the fluid- found
some metalic shavings and dark non-brake fluid matter in the lines. How does
one prevent/repair this checkvalve or diode like misbehavior his braking
system is exhibiting. Seems as though there had been some comments on this
subject recently but I don't recall a difficulty like this being discussed.
