Mike,
I am not sure if this would help or not but...

A while back TRF advertised TR7 rear ends. The "pumpkin" is the same as a
GT6. So they will remove this assembley and ship it to GT6 owners. I can't
remember but it seemed to be around $175.

Kippings sells the entire differential for 220 pounds and a 100 pound core
charge.

You might call a few of the Brirish wrecking yards (see Hemmings) and see
what kind of prices used ones go for. I paid about 60 for a used one from a
shop in Florida about 1 year ago. It was Hayes Harris Wire Wheels Inc. (407)
265-3641 The number might have changed but I am sure there is a forwarding
number.

A couple of other places could be:
Classic & Unique Vehicles in Austin. Mark has tons of stuff. (512) 388-0700
or a Ft Worth british wrecking yard: British Auto Specialist
(817) 589-7974

As much trouble it is to change this part out I would think think it over
closely about using a junk yard, or rebuilt by the guy down the street or
new. I just happened to get real lucky with the used one I bought.

Good luck,
Richard Ceraldi
