Hello gang-

Took a while but the TR250 is in the shop now for smog. I needed a new
distributor which I got installed.

I mentioned my sticky clutch problem (remember...I couldn't get it into gear
from a stop...sometimes, or when I was on a uphill...almost always). So, my
mechanic experienced the problem and tells me I have 1/2" of play instead of
0.008" and the Thrust washer must be at the bottom of the pan. He's opening it
up in the next couple of days to see what damage there is. Should I replace
anything while he's in there?

He didn't want to do the smog thing with this problem because of the noise at
high rpm. Wants to correct this problem first before doing smog. I mentioned
oil pressure is about 45 lbs. idle and should be around 75 lbs. He agreed and
said my bearings may be shot!

Any comments appreciated.
