Lots of ways to support a car or body or chassis while working on it,
but

BEWARE OF CINDER BLOCKS! USE THEM ONLY IN THE POSITION THEY ARE USED IN
A WALL!

This material has virtually NO strength in shear, only in compression. I
found out the hard way several years ago when restoring a heavier
vehicle. I had the chassis supported by four cinder blocks standing on
end and was slowly adding parts. One day while fortunately NOT under the
thing, I hear a CRASH and turned to see that two of the blocks had
sheared in the middle web and dropped the chassis.

Embarassing but vavluable lesson.
