You're so right on the mark (marque?). It is not a personal affront to
decline to buy a particular TR. That is why Triumph made different models,
and why people own different ones.

These cars are so much fun, whichever is your "cup of tea" you can't go
wrong.

I'm not able to make fun of them, but can criticise shortcomings.

Much of the fantastic character of these cars is from the not perfect
designs. The cars without any flaws of which I'm aware are so blah to own and
drive. I'll take a Triumph any day.

I've owned the German, British (MG, Triumph, and vicariously a Jag), Italian,
and the infamous Corvair.
