Dear Triumphers,
If you're outside the UK, or if nobody sends you snail mail anymore, you
may not know that the Royal Mail have issued a set of postage stamps
featuring classic British sports cars.
Of most interest to "us" will be the (red) TR3 stamp. Cars depicted on
the other stamps are Jaguar XK, MG TD, Austin Healey 100, Morgan 4 and MG
TD.
The stamps use photos of only a portion of the front of each car,
including part of the grille, a headlamp and the manufacturer's badge.
This isn't a bad approach, as the whole car would be too small to see
properly on a stamp, and we all know what the rest of the car looks like
don't we?
If any of you are interested in having one or all of these stamps, I'd be
glad to go get them from the post office and send them to you. I'd
charge just for the cost of the stamp(s), plus postage to you (wherever
you are). It's possible that full sets of stamps are available in
presentation packs, but I'd have to check.
The stamps are only available for a short time, so reply now to avoid
disappointment!!
