Jammer,
Just a little _encouraging_ comment :). I know a couple people
who've restored TR7s to a very good standard and they run beautifully. With
a good restoration, it's possible to get rid of many of the problems which
hampered teh TR7 throughout it's life. I've always loved the shape (so
shoot me! :) and there's always been this strange attraction I've had for
them. I'd really want a TR7 V8, or, better yet, a TR8. Dreams...
Anyway, despite the fact that the guys I know both owned '80
models, I think you'll probably be able to handle it. Good luck! Just
maintain a sense of humor!
