At the end of June, my 17-year-old son got in a fender-bender with our '72
Spitfire. No injuries or mechanical damage (didn't even break a headlight!),
but the hood panel, fenders, bumper, grill and valance panels are badly
rumpled.
The body shop would like me to find a new "front clip" in good condition.
Does anyone know of a parts car or wreck with a good front end in Northern
California? I'd prefer a '72 through '74 for the chrome bumpers, but a '75 to
'80 1500 would be OK too--I can straighten and rechrome the original piece.
I'm located in Davis, California--near Sacramento.
...and what's a fair price to offer for these parts???
