Hi Folks !
Can you please help me solving these TR 3A body problems ?
1.)
Body has been taken off for restoration. Refitting it now to the frame,
there are no problems in fitting. Should body only be fastened at its 12 or
14 nut+bolt mountings, or is additional fastening preferrable ?
2.) Additonal fastening by additional mountings or silicone or (similar
sticking mass is this called "glue"?), on the rails where body has
contact to the frame ?
3) Reason for additional fastening should be greater stability of the
usualy rattling body ?
4) Any dangers ? maybe cracking paint due to stress and torsion etc?
please advise !!!
