Re: Removal of windscreen on TR-6:

        The factory manual for the '65 TR-4 (which is basically the same body 
as your TR-6). To wit:
                To Remove:
                        Pull off the draught welting from the screen pillars.
                        Remove three bolts with cover plates(from top of        
                        dash), remove bolt(s) from bottom of screen pillar(I    
                        presume these are the bolts you have already removed.

                        NOW. slacken bolts that "crimp" this holder.  They      
                        are accessible when the door is opened.

                        Now, lift out the windscreen assembly.

                        Remove the rubber weathersrip from the back of the      
                        windscreen assembly.

        I hope this helps.  I have accomplished this in the past.  If you are 
replacing the glass, then re-install the windscreen assembly first.  
Installing new glass is really very easy with some "heavy" string.
