Because Ford didn't make a manifold for the right side that didn't shoot s=

The "another" person Ron Fraser is referring to is me, Bill Waite (Tiger / =
Alpine owner since 1978).=C2=A0 I have uncovered additional information tod=
ay which confirms (100% in my opinion) that the logo on the Tiger's RT Exha=

=C2=A0
Ron said "We are looking for photo proof or written proof to seal this case=
."=C2=A0 Hopefully the following information will include enough proof.
=C2=A0
1.=C2=A0 Ends up that from 1915 through 1980 there was a company named "Dar=
tmouth Auto Castings" located in Smethwick (UK).=C2=A0 In later years that =
company operated three (3) separate foundries. It ends up that Darcast was =
not the name of any foundry.=C2=A0 Rather Dartmouth Auto Castings used the =
DART in Dartmouth and the CAST in Castings to create its logo: DarCast.
2.=C2=A0 An October 1951 print advertisement (attached to this message) cle=
arly shows the Darcast logo.=C2=A0 Also attached is another print ad from 1=
965.=C2=A0 =C2=A0That ad lists the type of castings they produced.
=C2=A0
3.=C2=A0 On the unique Tiger manifold, there is a number "DA21120."=C2=A0 I=
looked at some of the other exhaust manifolds the company produced, and th=
ey also have unique identifiers starting with "DA."=C2=A0 I submit: "DA" wa=
s likely used as the prefix of "Dartmouth Auto" part numbers.
=C2=A0
4.=C2=A0 Separately, to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever posted a =
photograph of the RT side exhaust manifold with "Barcast" in the logo.
=C2=A0
I intend to add the above information to the thread I started on the C.A.T.=
