You must not be in CA (or other state with the vapor recovery gas pumps).
All 13 gallons take forever for me, so I never try to go more than 9 or so.
Old cars don't have the on-board carbon canister system that is needed for =
the new pumps.
So there is nothing you can do.
When the nozzle is fully inserted and gas pumped in the pressure rises and =
the pump shuts
off, always spilling gas down the side and onto the ground.=20
I have to hold the nozzle crooked so the bellows doesn't fully seat and jus=
t barely open the
trigger, takes forever.
Some guys hold the nozzle upside down (vertical) and it works better.  I ju=
st tried this again
and it did seem to work better than years ago when I last tried it.
