Before you buy a new fuel pump you should check the fuel flow of the
one you have. The SU pump is rated at 15 gallons per hour which should be
able to support around 200 HP. The second thing you should do is make sure
there is no blockage in the fuel line from carb to pump and pump to tank,
also check the fuel filters and screens. Every time I had a fuel delivery
problem my Tiger would loose power at 80 MPH, the problem was always dirt or
paint chips plugging the filter thus reducing fuel flow.

I modified the 260 a bit.

Roller cam, f4b etc.

Runs beautifully but sometimes it seems like the stock fuel pump might not
be keeping up.

Any one else have this problem?

Solutions?

I notice that the factory fitted the twin barrel SU pump when they went to
the four barrel carb, anyone know the model number?

Thanks
Scott
