What happens when you 'idle it up' (adjust idle screw)?  Perhaps it's just
set too low to idle.

What psi range does the pump run?  1.5 to 3.5 is good for these carbs,
right.

Chance of rust/junk in fuel lines, getting into the carb & jets?

No vacuum leaks...right?
