Whoa, there!  I really don't think that was me!  While the ICPI and then 
the State have been  going after these anal orfices for conspiracy, that 
in no way changes the law, the intent of the law, or the enforcement of 
the law.  Perhaps you are confusing the issue that "following too 
closely" cannot, in theory, apply to one who hits a STOPPED vehicle, and 
that some cite for failure to maintain control of a vehicle or reckless 
driving.  (The argument that some courts have agreed with has been that 
hitting a stopped car is the same as hitting a parked car or tree, and 
that a driver can't be following them.)  Then again, in accidents in 
which there are skid marks, by using the length and the coefficient of 
friction, it is possible to establish an unsafe speed.
