45@3k is a little on the low side on a hot
motor according to the book...you oughta be looking at 60@3k on a 948/1098 or a 
min of 55@3k on a 1275, assuming correct weight petroleum type oil for season.

The other figures mentioned are "good",
so.....

a lower than factory spec hot running oil pressure reading...(ass-u-me)ing the 
gauge
is correct....and bearing in mind the foregoing.....is often associated with 
worn bearings.

HOWEVER.....it can also be the CAUSE of increased bearing wear by way of a worn 
oil pump or sticking oil pressure reliefe valve. But considering the 20psi 
"hot" oil pressure reading at idle (excellent), I'm leaning more toward a worn 
pump.
