Canadian cars to US

OK youse guys....

Let's say you buy yourself a really sweet Sprite in Canada, you pick it up
at Mosport this year, and you bring it back to the US with a bill of sale.
Let's assume there are no hassles at the border. Anyone try to get a title
in the US (I'm in IL) with the Canadian paperwork?
