I agree on the stock brakes and Kevlar pads.  You can get these cars to brake
harder than the tires have adhesion.  No advantage there!  The right kevlar pads
for street use will make the car feel like it has power brakes.  Great bite at
cold temps, and at high temps they don't gasify.
