I just wanted to thank all those who attended the Sprite Rush and kept us
no-goers up to date.
The reports and pictures are great. Makes it hurt that much more that I
couldn't go.

Also, I would like to thank those who pointed me in the direction of
Nosinger when I was looking for a
tach cable. Nice people, prompt service, quality work and a reasonable
price; traits all to rare these days.

This list never lets me down unlike the viagra list. Which leads me into my
question err... rather situation.

It goes as follows: the Sprite has been running very rich, guzzling gas,
and spewing some black smoke on start-up/under hard acceleration. It runs
fine but once warmed up idles very slow almost to the point of dying. I
have no idea when the last time the carbs where synched and mixture/idle
adjusted (purchased car 8/97). This will be the first time I fool with the
carbs. I have the factory manual, and a few other SU articles to help me
along the way. A friend has volunteered the use of his color-tune kit and
unisynch carb synchronizer. Do they work/are they worth the effort? My
friend swears by them. I've read the instructions for both and it seems
rather straight forward. Still I am leery.
Any words of advice or encouragement for this SU-novice?

TIA

Cheers,
Jim Rowan
