Anyone care to give his opinion on the subject. Assuming that mirrors
are
install in front of door panels not on the front fenders. I read that
Bullet
Mirror 4.5 inches are pretty but were not practical for the right
side....

I would agree, based on experience...unless you could find a bullet
mirror with a more convex shape to give a wider (if distorted "Objects
in mirror are not quite a weirdly shaped as they appear") view for the
passenger side. Granted, my actual experience was with a 1970 GT6+,
where I found it absolutely impossible to find a satisfactory mount
point for a bullet mirror that would give a decent field of view AND
not interfere with the vent window. At least you don't have the latter
problem!

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
