Also - if anyone knows what the GT6 came with regarding diff ratios I'd be
most pleased to know - as far as I can work out standard came with 3.27
and cars with OD came with 3.89?
Correct - but to muddy the scene, you could specify the GT6 to have O/D with
a 3.27 final drive, though few were aware of this. I had this set up in my
Mk 2 in 1970 and it made for an excellent long-legged beast. Only downfall
is it wouldn't pull more than 3,500 in O/D 4th
