The MK4's had stainless trim also, but of a much different configuration.
I still have the original stainless trim the car came with, and will
attempt with the aid of my newly made tool (dimensions courtesy of John M.)
to install it into my new windshield rubber without breaking the windshield
this time - We'll see :-)
