I noticed the rear spring of the spitsix is suddenly sagging more than
normal. So now I am considering getting a local spring shop to build me a
new spring. I had them build a new spring and added a leaf for my old
pickup so I know they do a really good job.
So my first question is, when re-arching what is the height at the center of
the completed spring supposed to be?
My second question is has anybody combine 2 springs to create a stiffer one?
If you look at the spring from the side and number then 1 to 5 with 1 being
the largest one. Could you build a spring like 1-2-2-3-3? This is after
re-arching of course. Would it too stiff?
