Just got a '78 1500, it was supposed to have a shot motor, with the rest of
the car in good shape.
It now appears that the motor is ok, but the clutch MC is frozen. I can
turn the car over by applying current to the starter, but not from the key.
Does the '78 have a safety switch in the clutch? could this be why the car
won't turn over when the key is turned?
