Depending on your driving habits, waxing the windshield does a dandy job of
fixing those little scratches and pits. This is an
old motorcycle trick for dealing with those plastic fairings and helmet
shields that are always getting scratched up. Most
folks use Pledge because it's easy, cheap and cleans the windscreen while you
do it. But it collects dust and needs to be done
daily as a result. Jubilee appliance wax is harder, and just as easy.
Automotive wax also works, but is pointlessly difficult
to use. You can't use windshield wipers worth a darn if you wax a windshield
though.
