Craig,

I had exactly the same problem. Went to TRGB (Triumph specialist near
Cambridge, in the UK), who not only had a replacement for this little bit, but
theirs was metal, not plastic, so it won't ever break again. One minor
problem, the hole that the roll-pin fits into was a little too small. First
attempt to drill it out and I broke the finger off (metal quite soft and
brittle), so I got another one and tried again - all fine this time.

So, replacements are definitely available, but whether anyone in the States has
them I would have no idea. Call around, or, if you are lazy and don't mind
paying the postage on a light bit of kit, call TRGB (remember we are 6 hours
ahead of you, so by 11:30 your time they will be closed). (Also remember that
if you ask for a 'driver side' one you will end up with one that will fit your
passenger door, since we all sit on the other side. Best stick with 'left'
 and 'right'!)

TRGB : tel - Int +44 1487 842 168
fax - Int +44 1487 740274
e-mail - trgbltd@aol.com

Sorry, don't know the part number - when I went in I got half-way through
describing the problem and they went straight off and got the bit off the
shelf. A quick look at both Moss and Rimmer catalogues - they definitely do
not sell this part, or have a number for it, since they both show exploded
diagrams with 4 or 5 parts arrowed, and a note below saying that the only
parts they stock individually are those with numbers against them.
