Phil

Sorry I don't have catalogue at work , but yes I meant the hardtop rear
window seal . I thought I saw it in the catalogue , but it must have been a
VERY old one , or I've been working too hard or the fluif got to me . Don't
know . Guess you are correct .
It's a shame though . I would've liked to replace mine at a later stage . At
the rate I'm restoring my Spitfire it might be available again :-) or the
rest of the hard top mounting hardware and seals that I need may be NLA .
Scary thought :-(

Kind regards

Chris,

You do mean the rear hardtop window seal, part number 903599? This has and
remains to be unavailable from any supplier. Interestingly though, the glass
has been remanufactured by T D Fitchett, in Telford, UK, but the sealing
rubber was not. Six Spares, Middlesex, UK, recently remanufactured the side
window seals in the proper profile. All the other seals for the hardtop are
and have been available though - i.e. front seal, and hardtop to rear deck
seal.

Funnily enough, I only live round the corner from John Kipping's (aka Canley
Classics). The new owner, Dave Pearson is also a member of Club Triumph, and
is just as helpful as John Kipping ever was. Rest assured, the business is
in safe hands!
