recently there was a discussion regarding checking of the compression
ratio in an engine. I suggested that the only way to check a
compression RATIO was to actually check the pistons themselves and make
the determination from their configuration.
Au contraire, Bartowel Breath.
There is a device, called a Whistler, that is used by the NHRA technical
inspection group which will determine the compression ratio of a given
cylinder.
so there.
