Still sounds like a classic wheel balance issue to me.  I have heard from
reliable sources that wheels out of balance get worse at around 60mph as it
resonates and clears up if forced to go faster, then again at 110.  I had
basically the same problem on my Mini and it was the wheels out of balance.
Its cheap and quick, do this first!
