Took my 72 spit in today to have the dif resealed...Lucky Me!
The shop proprietor (a lbc specialist, and spit racer!) thought he
remembered my car...after looking through his records, he built my motor,
and rebuilt my tranny and front end in 1987. Checked the odometer reading,
and found my car has only traveled 6,000 miles since then! Plus, he gave me
a pile of reciepts for all the work the car had when in his care!
Outstanding!
Seems my leaks are mostly due to the fact that the car was stored for
several years. Replace some rubber and I've got a good car!
Now if I can just figure out what type of intake manifold/carb setup I want
to run to bump up my stock Stromberg...any hints?
