Hey Paul

Yeah, the tach drops almost to 0

I am in south Florida

Sounds a little high for a crank position sensor change. Where are you
located? If you are anywhere near any of the SHO specialist, they can do a
whole 60K service for that price.

One is Performance-Plus in Madison, WI www.performance-plus.com, Ford
Performance Specialist in Douglasville, Ga http://www.fordspecialists.com/,
NESHO in MA http://www.nesho.com/.

I can personally recommend every one of them. I have driven from St. Louis
to Madison for a tune up, from St. Louis to Douglasville for a transmission
and Milwaukee to MA for a cam weld.

Anyhow, where are you?

I have just come from a dealer having my SHO checked out. I have only had
this car a couple of weeks and it has not been the romance I had hoped.
Once the car gets warm, it starts to cut out, more specifically the car will
not accelerate in 1, 2, or 3rd gear. Once I get it to 4th, it starts to
pick up speed. I have put the petal all the way to the floor and the engine
doesn't rev. I take it to the dealer and after about 3 hours, they tell me
they "think" it is the crank sensor and it will be about $920 to fix. Has
anyone else experienced this??
