I also have the HD/Husky unit, bought about 7 years ago.  It has worked
fine and I probably neglected it more than I should, so no complaints on
 that front.   There is nothing at all wrong with it, but it barely handles my
media blaster (one of my favorite tools), sometimes bogs down when using cut
off wheels and my HF angle grinder and cannot handle a dual action
 sander. As a result, if I had it to do over again I would probably take
Randall's advice and see what I could find used on Craig's List.
