Well, sure.  Even a cheap corded drill has a better motor (more
powerful, better duty cycle) than most cordless drills.  The 24V
dewalt stuff might have been an exception, but the people who bought
that stuff would spend the money on corded tools, so I doubt it sold
well at all.
