If the rings were worn, it seems to me that the problem you'd see is oil in
the air, not water. Are you sure it is water coming out?
If indeed it is water, how are your air lines plumbed? There should be a
slope towards a drain point & the take off for the tool's air supply should
come off the top of a horizontal run. Do you drain the tank regularly?
