The hose on my compression tester has a quick disconnect in it so you 
don't have to turn the whole guage while threading it into the head. It 
just so happens that this disconnect is the same as used on my air 
hoses! The only thing I had to do was remove the shader valve from the 
end of the hose that is used as a check valve. Works well for checking 
for leaks.
