On the subject of aluminum prep and handling, I gained a lot of experience
repaneling vintage sports and race cars. Making new metal match original
pieces was a challenge. I learned from aircraft people and there are some

The cleaners are magic and there are stabilizers that preserve the surface
permanently.
What I haven't ben able to find is anything which will brighten magnesium
castings . . everything I try make a black oxide . . .
