Also note that you can buy at a farm store, an adapter from garden hose to
valve stem threads.  It allow one to 80% fill tractor tires with water for
extra weight.   The adapter has a bleeder button on it . . you place the
stem at the top side and fill with water 'til it slows. turn the water off
and bleed the air, repeat.  Add a quart or two of methanol or cheap
anti-freeze with a funnel and a hose if your tractor will be exposed to more
than one or two days of continuous freezing weather.  One would normally do
this for increased pulling traction on dirt rather than muddy lawn mowing.
