Saw an interesting product in Fine Homebuilding last month called Home
Slicker. It is an expanded plastic mat, about 1/4" think, that you put
behind your siding. Gives a 1/4" breathable layer behind the siding, to
allow air and water flow behind your siding. Looks really useful Pricey at
50 cents a square foot but might be worthwhile.
