I do some woodworking so I have the equipment to just resharpen them, diamond 
stone and leather strop.  A piece of fine emery cloth on the floor also works. 
I 
can get them sharper than new.  This works very well on the trapezoid utility 
blades.  I realise they are cheap enough to just throw them away, but I am 
never 
in need of a sharp blade.  If you do want to toss them, just rub on a cement 
shop floor or a file to take the edge off.
